From 1994 to 2012, the three members of gAGE/UPC, Manuel Hernandez Pajares, Jose Miguel Juan Zornoza and Jaume Sanz Subirana, were developing its research activities together. This involved the development of a number techniques (algorithms and related software) in the  field of satellite navigation (GNSS) and their applications. In this regard, in 1997, these three authors agreed to establish an alphabetical order of signatures in all works. This principle was applied from 1997 to early 2012.
